Mr. Dan Tadmor, CEO
Dan Tadmor joined Beit Hatfutsot as CEO in 2012. In his position he oversees the institution’s day to day activities, as well as the vast renewal project currently underway. A $100 million initiative, the renewal includes the complete overhaul of the Museum of the Jewish People, as well as providing online accessibility to the museum’s extensive databases and the rapid development of its educational programs.
Prior to joining Beit Hatfutsot Dan held several senior executive positions in Israeli media. In the IDF Dan served as an officer in an elite intelligence unit. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science (with honors) from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Dan is married + 3, and resides in Rehovot.
Mr. Mati Kliger, CFO
Mati Kliger is the CFO of the Museum of the Jewish People at Beit Hatfutsot, since 2011.
He previously held the position of as the CFO of Mateh Yehuda Regional Council, and served as a board member of the Mateh Yehuda Development Company. Prior to this Mati served as VP Business Development at a start-up company and as an Investment Manager at a Venture Capital Fund. Mati holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management from the Open University, and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the Tel Aviv University. He’s also a graduate of the Wharton Recanati Global Consulting Program at the Tel Aviv University.
Ms. Nurit Gazit, CDO
A veteran of the Israeli internet industry, Nurit Gazit is a Product Management Expert, with 20 years of experience in developing and managing web-based products. Nurit has designed and managed complex web and mobile products in start-ups corporates, for the Israeli and international markets.
In 2014 Nurit joined the Museum of the Jewish People at Beit Hatfutsot, as Chief Digital Officer, in order to make one of the Museum’s flagship asset – its five extensive databases – accessible online. Nurit leads a team of 10 in-house tech professionals.
Dr. Orit Shaham Gover, Chief Curator
Dr. Orit Shaham Gover is the Chief Curator of the Museum of the Jewish People at Beit Hatfutsot. Orit is a writer, curator, adviser and an experienced large-scale museum developer, such as Massada, Herodium National Park Visitor Center, The Palmach Museum, the Herzl Museum and more. She joined Beit Hatfutsot in 2009 and is currently leading the content development of the new core exhibition of the Museum of the Jewish People, as part of the museum’s extensive renewal process. She also heads the temporary exhibitions department.
Orit holds a BA in in History from the Tel Aviv University, MA in Museum Education from the George Washington University in Washington D.C., and a PhD in Museology from the Haifa University. Orit published 4 novels between 2001 and 2013.

Amir Maltz serves as Director of the Sales and Marketing Division of the Museum of the Jewish People at Beit Hatfutsot, as of March 2016 .Amir served as Marketing Director and Board Member of HOT Mobile since 2015 .Between 2005-2015 he held different management positions in the Marketing Division of Hot Mobile (MIRS, before it was purchased by HOT). Between 1999-2005 he served in various positions in Cellcom. Amir holds an Interdisciplinary Bachelor’s degree from the Hebrew University, and a Business Management MBA from the Open University.

Adi has a 20 years experience in devising and implementing media strategies, providing public relations services and planning crises management for leading companies in the market.
Adi is involved in extensive volunteer work for several organizations, among them fund raising and assisting in the financial establishment of the Lilach organization for children at risk in Tel Aviv. She is also Member of the Yad Vashem council.
Adi is a graduate of the Gesher Leadership Development Institute. She is married with two children, and lives in Tel Aviv.
Ms. Shulamith Bahat, CEO Beit Hatfutsot of America
Shulamith Bahat is CEO of Beit Hatfutsot of America, a program and institutional platform of the Israel based Museum of the Jewish People, partnering with foundations, museums, JCCs, synagogues, cultivating engaged leadership and overseeing development. Shulamith was previously Associate Executive Director of AJC, where she served for 31 years. She was elected as one of the Forward 50 leaders in Jewish life, as the highest ranking woman and Israeli in American Jewish organizations. Prior to this She served as the Israel Programs Director for Israel’s Foreign Ministry, where she advanced the presence of Israel on American and Canadian campuses. Shulamith currently serves as a board member of the Per Ahlmark and Albert Cohen Foundations.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Political Science from the Hebrew University, and an MA in Urban Planning from the Technion. She continued her Post Graduate Studies at the University of Pennsylvania.

Rabbi Talia Avnon-Benveniste, Director of the International School for Jewish Peoplehood Studies
Rabbi Talia Avnon-Benveniste is the Director of the Koret International School for Jewish Peoplehood Studies (ISJPS) at the Museum of the Jewish People at Beit Hatfutsot. Managing a full staff of professionals, she works to instill Jewish Peoplehood consciousness among Jews worldwide that fosters involvement with and a commitment to the Jewish People.
Prior to joining the Museum of the Jewish People at Beit Hatfutsot, Talia was the Head of the Educational Department of Beit Daniel, in Tel Aviv, where she collaborated with the Ministry of Education, JAFI and the City of Tel Aviv. She is a keynote speaker at numerous Israeli and international educational conferences. She lectures at various religious institutes and is a recognized pedagogic instructor on Jewish Peoplehood content and programs.
Ms. Liora Shani, Director of Conventions & Events Center
Liora Shani, a staff member of the museum since 1980, is the Director of the Conventions and Events Center of Beit Hatfutsot. She was born in Ness Ziona, and is the great granddaughter of Avraham Yalovsky, a pioneer of the modern Jewish settlement. Liora initiates, organizes and produces all museum events, including exhibition openings, gallery talks, conventions, seminars, film screenings, concerts and ceremonies. She establishes successful collaborations with Israeli and non-Israeli organizations, as well as with foreign embassies and cultural institutes, all while emphasizing the uniqueness of the museum.
Previously, Liora held various positions at Beit Hatfutsot in the fields of education, research, product development, outreaching educational and curatorial activities of the museum. She currently serves as a Board Member of the Association of Museums and ICOM Israel. Liora is A graduate of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Beersheba, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Jewish History and Archeology. She is a graduate of Management of Non-for-Profit Cultural and Art Institutions Studies at The Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya.
The New Core Exhibition Project
Ms. Medy Shvide, Project Manager of the New Museum
Medy Shvide is the Project Manager of the new Museum of the Jewish People at Beit Hatfutsot. She has extensive experience in managing art-related projects in the public and private sectors, including project and budget planning. In 2012 Medy joined Beit Hatfutsot, leading its renewal process which reflects changes in Jewish culture globally, as well as museum technological innovativeness. Among various initiatives, she ran the Tel Aviv Art Year, which included the opening of the new wing of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art in 2011, and served as the Director of the Tel Aviv Art Biennial. Prior to this career she served in the IDF for over twenty years, in several development, logistic and human resources positions. Medy has an MBA from Haifa University and is a graduate of Museology Studies in the Tel Aviv University.

Mr. Haim Ghiuzeli, Director of the Databases Department
Horia Haim F. Ghiuzeli, a historian, is the Director of the Databases Department of The Museum of the Jewish People at Beit Hatfutsot. His historical research covers European medieval history as well as medieval and modern Jewish history. His expertise focuses in implementing computer technology in the field of humanities and social science and encompasses development of multimedia databases and websites. Haim is a lecturer on various Jewish historical topics, including genealogy and genealogy-related subjects at numerous Museum activities as well as at outreaching events, including international conventions. He previously was a researcher and lecturer of history at various academic and educational institutions.
